Updates to follow on our Sunday Services and events.
We're Open For Church Gatherings
We’re back, and we’ve missed you!
We are so excited to announce the re-opening of our doors for in-person church gatherings. As we come back together, we want you to know that providing a safe and spiritual experience for you is our utmost priority. We have a dedicated team that have implemented Safe Covid Practises for our Church in accordance with the State government requirements. We have taken the necessary special precautions to ensure we provide a sanitised and spacious place for you and your family to enjoy worship together.
We have missed you, yet have continued praying for you knowing that our amazing God would carry you through this time and with that Sure Hope we can’t wait to see you on Sunday 6th December 2020.
We are providing two (2) church gathering times to accommodate social distancing and each individual’s preferences. Please read below for updated times, guidelines, and safety measures we’re taking as we open up church.
Church Gathering Times
Take note of our times below because they have changed!
Sundays 9:00am and 10:30am
2 Allied Drive, Tullamarine Vic 3043
Until we are back to running church services we plan to run our gathering for a period of 40 minutes.
Our Reopening Plan
To accommodate social distancing and each individual’s preferences, we are adhering to the below precautions at all of our in-person gatherings.
In-Person Gatherings
In line with the Victorian Governments guidelines, we are able to utilise our church building for our gatherings. Individuals will be grouped separately within the auditorium in groups no larger than 20 people and social distancing will be applicable. You will not be required to social distance from members of the same household. Our wonderful hosts will assist you and ensure that the protocols are correctly followed and adhered to so feel free to ask them any questions.
Service Registration
We have adopted a registration process through Eventbrite which will make your booking a streamline experience. It is essential that you register to attend one of the church gathering times. Please click on the following link to access the registration page:
Online Church
An online church experience will still be available where people can still participate from home if their health is compromised, they are expressing symptoms, or do not feel comfortable physically attending in person.
Guidelines & Safety Measures
Grow Kids
Grow Kids will recommence in 2021. We will be taking temperatures of the children upon check-in and Grow Kids will be professionally cleaned and will follow sanitising procedures between services.
Hush Room
This area will be sanitised and available for parents to use with their babies/toddlers during church gathering times.
Cleaning Protocol
All high traffic areas will be cleaned before and after each gathering following all DHHS approved COVID-19 guidelines and our Covid Safe Plan.
Safety Measures
We have hand sanitiser and masks available on-site and every area of our church is professionally cleaned on a regular basis. We also have a dedicated Covid Safe Warden to warrant that all safety measures are adhered to and our service hosts have been trained to ensure that social distancing and hygiene protocols are followed.
When to Stay Home
If you’ve had ANY signs of sickness in the past 2 weeks, we ask that you stay home. Please also keep your children home if they are showing any symptoms.
Questions?
Will I be required to wear a mask?
Currently in accordance with the Victorian Governments restriction levels, all Victorians must wear a fitted face mask when they leave home, no matter where they live. Children under the age of 12 are not required to wear a mask. We are in regular contact with DHHS and will inform you of any changes we are made aware of.
What about Hygiene and Physical Distancing?
To keep yourself, your friends and your family safe there are key actions that we ask that you continue to do:
Practise good hygiene – wash your hands and cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.
Keep your distance – stay 1.5 metres away from anyone you don’t live with.
Wear a face mask when you leave home.
What personal details will I need to provide if I attend a Church gathering?
At the time of registration, you will need to provide your full name and contact phone number for each member who wishes to attend the gathering. Once you arrive you will be asked to scan our Centerpoint Church QR code which is the hygienic, contactless way of signing into the building.
Expressions of Interest for our reopening
Hello Church,
We hope you and your loved ones are doing well. To say that we miss you and can’t wait to worship together at the church building is an understatement. Nevertheless, we continue to trust God for you, your family, our church and continue to pray for revival and healing over our nation and world during these tough and challenging times.
In regard to our state of Victoria, we are now entering another stage of restrictions for a period of (six 6) weeks. Details of the up to date COVID-19 can be found on the Victorian Government websites www.vic.gov.au or www.dhhs.vic.gov.au informing you of all restriction levels. Having said that, should you need help with something please contact us and see if we can be of any assistance.
So, in preparation for church attendance once numbers are increased to 50 or 100 people, we would like your indication on what would most likely suit you and your family.
The current Sunday services we are planning for are as follows:
Service 1 10.30am Church Service in person, including Grow Kids church
Service 2 5pm Church Service in person
If you are not comfortable returning just yet-no worries. We will continue with our 10.30am Sunday church online on Facebook and YouTube.
Therefore, if you could indicate which service you will mostly likely attend (with the number of family members) that would help with seating according to the latest social distancing guidelines.
You can do this by texting 0492954417 or email info@cpchurch.net.au with your Option 1, 2 or 3 so we can plan accordingly.
In the meantime, please continue to enjoy our online services on Facebook and YouTube and follow our social media pages on Instagram and Facebook. We also encourage you to go to our website for Connect Groups, Prayer Requests and other ways to stay connected.
Finally, we want you to continue to believe with us that as a church we use this time for refreshing and resetting and that we remain focused on making Gods love known as He continues to pour out His unreserved love, grace and mercy over our lives. In Jesus Name.
Much Love
Ps John & Trish Di Cecco

Letter from Ps John Di Cecco

We hope you have been tuning into and enjoying our online services. We encourage you to stay connected by joining one of our many online connects groups and listening to the variety of relevant online programs that we have prepared with you in mind. So we can keep you updated, you can follow our social media pages centerpoint.melbourne on Instagram and Centerpoint Church on Facebook as well you can subscribe to our Youtube Channel to catch up on anything you may have missed.
We are now nearing the end of our 2nd month of isolation and at this stage The Victorian Government has stated that stage 3 restrictions have been extended until 11th May 2020 as these measures have been designed to ‘flatten the curve’ of coronavirus and to give the health system the best chance at managing the crisis.
This time has definitely brought with several changes to the way we do things. Along with these changes has come the challenge of conflict which is the way confront any crisis. We want to encourage you to embrace this challenge, as change sometimes presents great opportunities that can be missed if we don’t understand the process. Having said that change is a part of everyday life. We have weather changes, job changes, relationship changes, eat habits change and the list goes on. Therefore we ask you to use this time of isolation productively to lean into God as the ‘now normal’ is confronted by the ‘new normal’.
Let me explain the terms ‘now normal’ and ‘new normal.’ Currently people are using the term ‘new normal’ in relation to the time we find ourselves in during COVID-19 and what we have to get used to. Although this is where the term is gaining traction from, I want to bring another perspective about this term for your consideration.
I have found that whenever change comes knocking on life’s door, I am confronted with a decision. What do I mean? I am faced with having to make the decision of allowing myself to go through the process that comes with change.
Each time I consider change (or what I call my ‘new normal’) it comes carrying challenge, conflict and crisis to my current circumstance (or what I call my ‘now normal’).
Many times we miss out or sabotage the opportunity that change brings because we may fear, don’t understand or treat the process of challenge, conflict and crisis as negative or not good for our lives.
Yet when The Church was birthed in The Book of Acts, it was birthed in a crisis of change. Jesus was present then He was gone. One day they had a small group and the next day it dispersed. The Apostle Peter had to learn how to preach to the multitude, he changed from a communicating to the crowd to calibrating through chaos. In other words he had to process change through the challenge that change brings. So how did Peter do this and how do we prepare ourselves for change.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give you peace as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus is informing us that His peace is different, it’s not what you’re normally used to, as it calms the inner you so that you’ll have the composure and confidence to carry the challenge of change. His peace also brings the courage and capacity required to deal with the external circumstances as they arise.
Will you join me today by deciding to embrace the peace of God that is promised to us as our soul solution to uncertainty and trepidation. A peace that rightly prepares us for the challenge of change whenever it presents itself instead of risking exposure to being potentially crippled by change which is part of everyday life.
Now that you are equipped and ready for your next ‘new normal’ be expectant for change as Gods plans and purposes present themselves to you. Move forward with this confidence that where Peace rules God reigns.
Finally Trish and I along with our pastoral team are believing Gods best for you and your loved ones as you courageously continue to live life to the fullest. We are championing you as you present the message of certainty to those who are living in uncertainty. Let’s usher in the ‘new normal’ as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth. Jesus is the hope for humanity.
C’mon, Much Love

Letter from Ps John Di Cecco
Hi CPC,
I, Ps John Di Cecco, with Trish and our Pastors want to remind you that we are continually praying and believing Gods best over your lives. We want to encourage you to use this time of isolation productively and sow to the things that are going to remain which will reproduce fruit for the future that God so desire for you.
More than ever before I believe that for some of us we are going to experience The Word of God coming alive in our lives like never before as we lean in and hold to Jesus and look to The Holy Spirit to comfort and guide us through life as we now know it. In the Book of Isaiah I am encouraged by Isaiah’s discourse with God when asking for help over the Nation of Israel and God says to Isaiah in Chapter 41: 10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
So I ask you to join me in resting in this truth knowing that God is with us and he will never leave us or forsake us. Moving forward we want to inform you that we will be featuring programs, teaching, messages, worship, interviews, etc as well as virtual connect communities online which all the information will be on the webpage www.cpchurch.net.au
As well, make sure you follow our social media pages centerpoint.melbourne on Instagram and Centerpoint Church on Facebook as well you can subscribe to our Youtube Channel if you miss any of our live feeds.
This Wednesday 1st April @7.30pm on Centerpoint Church Facebook live I will be speaking to us about the power of connection and the Hope that Good news bringing to our lives. I look forward to being with you and would love to see your responses online as we good live. Invite you family and friends to join as I know that the message will be relevant to all on so many levels.
Finally I want to encourage us to continue being the church as we are not confined to spiritual distancing so lets declare Gods promises, pray for one another, txt an encouraging word or call someone to see how they are going.
I want to leave you with this…. Revival is the church going to the world, not the world coming the church.
Cmon, Much Love
Ps John Di Cecco
COVID19 - Sunday 29th March
We hope you and your loved ones are doing well. We are thinking and praying for you during these uncertain times and want to remind you that one thing is for certain and that is God loves You.
Our state government have implemented a shutdown of all non-essential activity, but know this, that Heaven is still open for you and is extremely active in our lives.
This Sunday we are pleased to inform you that we will be streaming online again on Facebook Live. Click on the '☆ Get Reminder' button to receive a notification at 10am on Sunday morning. PS - If you do not have a facebook account you can still watch the livestream. Jump onto our website after 10am on Sunday cpchurch.net.au/online and they stream will be available for you there.
Last Sunday was groundbreaking for us at CPC as we moved our church service online and we were able to reach lives as we shared the good news into homes locally, interstate and internationally. Many of you shared the live stream to family and friends with amazing results. Our stream has views of over 1.4k with 3 people recorded giving their lives to Jesus for the first time. We would love to hear your story regarding any experiences of family and friends who watched church online, email me at john@cpchurch.net.au
During Sunday’s message, I mentioned that the church landscape is changing and today more than ever the statement of BEING THE CHURCH as opposed to GOING TO CHURCH is going to challenge many of us to the core of our belief systems. Therefore I am calling us to pray, read your word, play worship music and remain engaged with our church community by interacting with our social media posts, texting and video calling each other and any other innovative ways possible.
Here are ways that you can continue being a part of our online church and encouraging others in and around our faith community:
Stay up to date with any new CPC church community programs as they come available online. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify and our click through to our website for further details.
If you have any prayer requests or praise points please send them through to our prayer team on our website.
Share our social media posts and online links to family and friends.
During our online church services please like and live comment which will encourage others who are watching.
If you have any personal needs please let us know by sending us a message from our website.
Please continue giving, we want to be a church that honours God with our first fruits. Our giving tells God that we trust Him first above everything. The church house that has been a blessing to us has bills that still require to be paid. We want our Global Care arms to be extended into our community as much as we can.
Finally, never let the presence of the storm cause you to doubt the presence of God. COVID-19 has no power to stop the flow of The Grace of God in your life but the Grace of God has the power to stop the flow of COVID-19 in your life.
We love you all and believing God’s best for your lives,
Ps John Di Cecco

What Centerpoint is doing in response:
We stand with decisions of our leaders, government and health professionals for the wellbeing of the community, be aware and adhere to their advice.

Pray.. pray for those infected to miraculously recover, for the spread to cease, for our medical professionals on the front line, for wisdom in our Nation’s leaders as they continue to respond, and that Jesus would touch hearts at this time.
Increase practical hygiene. Please see the way in which we will be facilitating this at CPC :
Hosts will be instructed not to shake hands with people as they arrive or enter the service.
Extra hand sanitiser to be available for use throughout the building. We strongly advise for you to bring your own pocket sized sanitiser for ease of access.
